Man, 39, Shot Dead In Camden: Prosecutor

Authorities have identified the 39-year-old man who was shot and killed late Monday Nov. 14 in Camden.

James Page Jr., of Camden City was pronounced dead at 12:44 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15 at Virtua Hospital, according to the county prosecutor's office.

A second man also was shot in Camden City, according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez.

On Monday at approximately 11:50 p.m., Camden County Police Department received a ShotSpotter Activation for shots fired at the 1100 block of Thurman Street in Camden City.

Officers arrived and found a suffering from apparent gunshot wounds who was later identified as Page, they said.

Camden County Police were also notified of a second gunshot victim who arrived at Virtua Hospital. The 36-year-old male victim is currently in stable condition, they said.
